{"id":8,"date":"2018-06-03T19:14:48","date_gmt":"2018-06-03T17:14:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/larixfacility.unife.it\/?page_id=8"},"modified":"2023-07-14T17:44:13","modified_gmt":"2023-07-14T15:44:13","slug":"homepage","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/larixfacility.unife.it\/","title":{"rendered":"Welcome"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The LARIX is a multi-project facility designed to meet requirements that span data engineering, X-ray diagnostics, detector calibration, crystallography test and mainly for astronomical applications.\u00a0Three main research groups work together in the facility: the Medical Physics group, the Archeometry section and the High Energy Astrophysics (HEA) group.\u00a0In particular, most of the activity of the HEA group is devoted to the development and test of the\u00a0X and Gamma-ray astronomy instrumentation. All the structures present in the laboratories are supported by the Physics and Earth Science Department of the Ferrara University, the Istituto Nazionale di Fisica Nucleare (INFN) and the Italian Space Agency (ASI).<\/p>\n<div style=\"width: 900px;\" class=\"wp-video\"><video class=\"wp-video-shortcode\" id=\"video-8-1\" width=\"900\" height=\"506\" autoplay preload=\"auto\" controls=\"controls\"><source type=\"video\/mp4\" src=\"https:\/\/larixfacility.unife.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/AHEAD_short.mp4?_=1\" \/><a href=\"https:\/\/larixfacility.unife.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/AHEAD_short.mp4\">https:\/\/larixfacility.unife.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/AHEAD_short.mp4<\/a><\/video><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Our facility opens to all the research groups of the University of Ferrara, as well as to external users. Two main laboratories are available and flexible for different applications. Both the facilities are provided with clean rooms class 10<sup>5<\/sup> with laminar air flow pattern.
